NEW OFFICIALS INFORMATION PAGE
To work youth lacrosse games for the NJJLL you must be a current high school w/ youth rules training by the GSLOA
or
NEW FOR 2021: US Lacrosse Level 1 Certified Official as trained by the GSLOA.
To be considered for US Lacrosse Boys Level 1 Officials training for the 2021 season you must meet the following criteria:
PLEASE NOTE, CLASS SIZE WILL BE EXTEREMLY LIMTED AND NOT ALL APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED
The requirements that must be completed to become a US Lacrosse Level 1 Official for the GSLOA are listed below:
NOTE: You will not be able to access the course materials or tests until you are a US Lacrosse member
ANY AND ALL FEES ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PROCESS ARE THE RESPONSIBILTY OF THE APPLICANT AND ARE NON REFUNDABLE
Fee estimates are:
US Lacrosse annual membership: $55 (includes insurance)
GSLOA First Year Official Fee: $35 ($25 after year one)
GSLOA New official training fee: $50
US Lacrosse Background Check fee: Included in US Lacrosse membership fee
DO NOT START THE PROCESS UNTIL YOUR APPLICATION HAS BEEN APPROVED BY THE GSLOA
To be eligible for this class you will need to complete about 8 hours of online classes which you can do at your convenience but it must be completed between 3/1/21 & 3/15/21. You then must be available for the following video classroom sessions: Tue 3/16, Mon 3/22 & Wed 3/24 at 7pm.
